TUBULAR QUARTZ (INFRARED) HEATING
Heating large spaces can be almost impossible and very costly, however with infrared zone heating this can be achieved in an effective, inexpensive and safe way.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?
·Lamps are highly economical as practically all the consumed electrical power is converted into heat
·Lamps have a lifespan of ± 7000 hours
·There are no by-products combustion, no movement of air or dust, therefore a cleaner environment
·Infrared heating systems are extremely effective as the air absorbs virtually no energy resulting in a high rate of heat transfer, does not dry the air
·Only people and objects in the irradiated area are heated
·Heat is not effected by air movement i.e. wind or draught
·Free of noise and odors
·The heat is felt instantly once switched on
·The design of the lamps and insulated connections eliminate the possibility of an electrical fault
·Infrared is a beam of light and not an open flame and therefore not a fire hazard
·Units compile with IEC standards and CE mark electrical compliance code(international)
WHERE CAN INFRARED HEATERS BE USED?
They can be used in restaurants, patios, bathrooms, churches, factories, sports halls, exhibitions halls, change rooms, salons and just about any other space that needs heating.

·Heaters cover an area of ± 16m2
·To calculate how many heaters you will need divide the areas in square meters by 16
·The colour can be changed to suit your décor at an addition charge
·There are dimmer controls available, this is recommended as they can be used to regulate the heat and they also help to prolong the lifespan of the lamp
·This product is proudly made in South Africa and only the lamps are imported, all the rest of the components are sourced locally and each unit is handmade
·The lamps have a three month guarantee and the unit a year guarantee
INSTALATION AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
·Most effective if installed between 1.8 to 2 meters from the ground in a horizontal position
·Must not be closer than 300 - 400 mm from the ceiling
·A 2.5mm2 cable must be used for each heater
·Do not cover the heater with anything while in use
·Do not expose heater to the direct element, unless you are using the weatherproof heater
·Do not touch the lamps as this will reduce the lifespan or damage them
